When Helping Hurts: Study & Discussion Class

Many of us want to help, but sometimes good intentions can have unintended consequences. When Helping Hurts invites us to see poverty through a biblical lens and discover a better way to love our neighbors.

In this class, we’ll explore God’s heart for restoration, learn practical principles for healthy service, and talk about how to empower others rather than create dependence. Join us as we grow in wisdom, compassion, and Christ-centered community engagement.

This is a small group discussion class going through the book When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty Without Hurting the Poor... and Yourself by Steve Corbett & Brian Fikkert.
